We’ve all got projects that we know we have to do, but we just can’t seem to make enough time for them. Maybe you want to finish your basement bathroom or organize your storage area. Maybe you have a pile of paperwork that you need to go through before you can file your taxes. Chances are, your project is still waiting because just about anything you can think of sounds more appealing than diving into that mess.

Sometimes you reach a point where reality just looks up at you, and your dreams say you have reached the final level in your evolution in a certain area of life and existence. Reality does this to all of us, and I say achieve your goals once you have the power.

What usually happens is that we start a plan of healthy living or creating new, healthier habits, with all guns blazing. We tighten up on everything, never miss a training session and keep laser focused on our goals.

Recalculating Route

When I was young, when there was no one to tell me I couldn’t and I hadn’t yet acquired any inner scripts that shouted out fears and criticisms, it was easy to get wherever I wanted to go. I wanted to be a writer like my dad and my uncle, so I wrote a book in fourth grade that was “published” in the school library. Later, I won awards for my writing and eventually made a living doing it for over 20 years.
